Hope & Cope’s Main Office volunteers brought their own special brand of holiday cheer to patients and families on December 13th, loading a hospitality cart filled with home-baked treats, Kosher packaged cookies, juice boxes and candy canes. While they didn’t log as many miles as Santa and his elves, they did cover an impressive amount of ground in the Segal Cancer Centre (waiting rooms on the 7th and 8th floors, Pulmonary Oncology and the Clinical Research Unit), the Radio-oncology Department and the Palliative Care Unit. Kudos to all the wonderful volunteers who contributed to this much appreciated holiday tradition, and special thanks to project coordinator, Lise Hillenbrand.
Chaque année, nos bénévoles du bureau principal remplissent un chariot de gâteries des fêtes faites maison afin de les distribuer dans les salles d’attente des services d’oncologie, de radiothérapie et l’unité des soins palliatifs. ... See MoreSee Less
